The Story Behind This Artwork
I finally have more time at the easel now that I'm done creating my
online video course! I am now working on a series of small still life paintings like this one. This is the first painting of the series that I'm really happy with. To be honest, I was rusty at first, and my earlier attempts may not see the light of day! This painting is indicative of the subjects and lighting I'm exploring with this series—backlighting and drama!
