The Story Behind This Artwork

Like refreshing lemonade on a hot summer day, these crisp yellows invigorated my soul!
When I put the lemons and press by our kitchen window, the cool light created a beautiful, harmonious array of colors. I stood there dazzled by all the variations of yellow—greenish yellows, orangey yellows, purplish yellows. And that pale blue-green in the lemon rind—gorgeous!
Painting each color was like a sip of ice cold lemonade. Aaahhhhhhh.
